Due to the very quiet fan, the device, which is operated by pressure switch, can also be used in waiting areas at doctors' surgeries, therapy and social rooms, in the hotel and catering industry and many more. Due to the special design of the high-quality powder-coated housing, a reliable shielding of the UV-C light for people is guaranteed.
The high-energy UV-C light triggers a photochemical reaction. The wavelenght at 253.7nm is absorbed by the cell nucleic acids and, depending on the irradiation dose, leads to the inactivation of viruses, bacteria and fungal spores. Because of this, the UV-C light can be used for targeted inactivation or damaging of up to 99.99% od microorganisms (such as bacteria/viruses, yeast and molds).
